Down to 12 hours until we start the 12 hour drive to Las Vegas, meaning we will be there in 24 hours, ready to take some flops.
I'm excited and looking forward to playing the final two $300 Venetian deep stack events on Wednesday and Thursday. Also, I am hoping to play a few satellites for the Caesars Palace $5k WSOP Circuit event. After that I will be grinding 2-5 NL all the way up until the WSOP/Venetian Deep Stacks/Caesars Palace Mega Stacks. That is when the real fun begins as well as the horrors of tournament poker.
I want to make sure this blog stays somewhat diversified so today I will share with you a little music video. The Blue Scholars are a Seattle based hip-hop duo who are very talented. I stumbled across them on a music blog and have really been enjoying their CD for the last year.

Almost Famous...
The big day is less than 48 hours away and I am starting to get very excited and slightly nervous. I am very bad when it comes to preparation and packing for a trip or move and this is no different. I need to spend all day today packing up my clothes and smaller items. Tomorrow is when we pick up the Uhaul trailer and get to load it up with furniture, Yay! :)
Sorry for such a lame post, but I am really just trying to get into the habit of updating this blog so that it can be as interesting as possible. Here is a picture of the complex that we will be moving into and a floor plan of the actual unit.

/Begin
I am very happy to announce the arrival of my new blog entitled, The Las Vegas Paper Chase. This blog will be used to chronicle the gambling exodus to Las Vegas, in which I am about to embark upon.
On Monday, April 21, my good friend Cody and I will be driving from our current home of Denver to Las Vegas. The plan is to stay for 6 months and win tens of thousands of dollars by playing poker. It's almost hard to type that while keeping a straight face but we are both fully prepared for this trip and posses a fairly good understanding of what we are getting ourselves into.
I hope to post almost daily throughout the entire stay, but we all know how that goes. I am also hoping to regularly post pictures in an attempt to make this blog more interesting. I kept a blog of my poker career between September '05 and June '07. You can check that out here. So make sure to check back soon.
